the talkeasy trust - where did it all begin?

Hi! My name is Dominic Graham and I am the current Director of the TalkEasy Trust. We've come a long way since the Trust's creation on the 29th November 2012 and we are growing every day. But where did we start?

The Trust was founded by Aidan McNulty - who later went on to win awards for his work - because of his own experiences with bullying and mental health issues in his early secondary school years. This early model was then bolstered by 15 other budding activists.

Many different schools pledged their support in the early days of the Trust - many because of activists spreading the message within the school. Examples of this include our own, The John Fisher School.

The Trust continued to grow from strength to strength - we've developed partnerships with other local voluntary organisations and worked closely with Sutton Council on many different projects such as mental health fairs and steering groups.

More recently we've become one of the founding members of a new partnership centred around spreading awareness of mental health and well being. It's very aptly named Esteem Sutton and you can find out more about on the Esteem Sutton tab on the navigation bar!

If you have any questions about the Trust and the work that we do please email us on: hello@talkeasy.org.uk - we want to hear from you!
